Baking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Every Christmas, my parents gifted me the newest version of the Easy Bake Oven, and I’d spend hours creating little cakes with big dreams. As I grew older, baking became more than just a hobby — it became my comfort, my therapy, and my passion. In stressful or difficult times, I would turn to the kitchen. There, I found peace.

My love for baking was passed down from the amazing women in my life — my mother and grandmother. I spent countless hours in the kitchen watching my grandmother bake for our family during the holidays. She didn’t just teach me how to follow a recipe — she taught me that baking with love is the true secret ingredient. One of my favorites was her rich, buttery Pound Cake, and her Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake was a family favorite.

Today, I carry on that legacy with every cake and sweet treat I make. When you taste my desserts, I hope they take you back — to your grandmother’s kitchen, to family gatherings, to moments filled with love.
